Weird Feelings
9:36 PM

As I have been instructed, I will try to make this blog LESS wordy=.= (although I might go back to the old habit... MUHAHAHAHA!) So in order to prove it I can make it... I shall simply describe bout my June Camp!

For the June Camp, it was seriously tiring, probably cause we were not used to the pace. Although being a Sec 3, I realise how we had much more to learn, since scouts needed an all time extra effort in other leadership skills. In addition there was the NPC selection! And at that time, I seriously did not know what I had to say although I wanted to go!! (cuz was dealing with other things earlier..) But I guess after reflection, I did not present my well as well since I could hardly work under pressure. However, from that interview, I learned how much we all lacked. It felt as if I was new to everything, being blur and all. Then after that, we were all pushed to do other activities like tests and such then we also packed up the Scouts Den. After that, we were let off...

See I CAN do it!! hahas, but of course I *might* do another post to elaborate my feelings... cuz not used to it... xDD (but I might be lazy.. =X )

But just to end off, I shall finish the quiz that YuSHAO has sabo-ed me into it...

Rules:-bloggers who has been tagged has to start with 10 random facts about themselves.-at the end of this quiz, you have to choose 10 ppl and tag them about this quiz

<8>: HanJie wants to learn how to ice-skate
<9>: HanJie revolves his life around friends and music

And for the 10 poor people... I shall not aim anyone too!! Since, only few might notice this blog=.=

June - A month for 'metamorphosis!'
6:47 PM

'Metamorphosis!' ,The television show screamed out loud, 'The change of time! The change of culture! The change of life!'

However in my perspective, it was actually another episode of obstacles, another chance to prove that we can indeed top the standard. Now in order to do that, we have to ask of how others view us. On one night, while my parents was out, I was watching the television when I happen to come across this show - 'Rouge'. When I heard the MC speaking of the theme for the day, I was amazed to hear that it was actually on how the women viewed the men!

Now, this intrigued me. It was interesting of how the opposite sex viewed you, not that it really mattered, but just actually to feel the 'excitement'. As expected, as deeper the show ran, the more the women critisized the men, the more I was thinking, 'Hey women do that too!!' At first, it started out with a mere question. 'What do you find most irritating about the men', many answers jumped out, which include that the male species do not think much. Thereafter, other questions were actually aimed at how men acted in public, how the were simple creatures and all.

However, what made me interested was that the many problems that each sex had with the other, and how much we need to change. It would be tough I guess, to rub smooth all the rough surfaces, but probably at the best as we can would do. But nonetheless, it is not necessary, but of course it would be best.

Or if we look at another picturette (not sure if the word existed, but it sounds nice) of life, where competition is encouraged, like at vivo. Although the last time I went there, was yesterday=.=, I was surprised at how nice the waiters were, or the shop-tenders. They were extremely polite, far off from the sales-person I met at Orchard who pulled a long face while selling her items. It was a grave new exposure, where the scheming and smart stood while the nice fall (the world of sales), yet now people can be so nice. It was utterly shocking, but of course it was good for us customers.

If that was not enough, my dad today was telling me about how studying could change your life (since I did not like to study) , or rather your objective in life (eg. passion in ice-skating... hahas), where when we study, we have more knowledge, we can play dirty if the playing ground was uneven, or when we have to stand up to the challenge, we have to constantly upgrade ourselves. Although it seemed short, it was like a lecture (I was only pulling out the essentials), but later thinking about it, it was not at all untrue. The new world holds more than opportunities, it holds obstacles, it holds uneven ground, it holds dark areas. It may seem nice, but its all an illusion...somehow. Its like the northern lights, where things may not all seem perfect, even when the lights are nice, phone lines are disrupted. Its almost as if everything had a catch in it, that we may fall easily.

Of course, our road will never be like a bed of roses, no matter how much we wish. But this is only my opinion, although I believe this is one of the weirdest posts I have made, but I guess its one of the most meaningful...(xD zikua...hahas).

Thus I guess, we have to take the opportunity and change for this June 2008. A month for 'metamorphosis!'
